Media Assistance Policy

The Newport Beach Conference & Visitors Bureau offers a Travel Media Assisting Program for qualified travel media in pursuit of their feature stories and editorial coverage of the Newport Beach area. The Travel Media Assisting Program is available to staff writers and editors, freelance travel writers on assignment or members of travel-related TV and radio programs, nationally and internationally.

Depending on the nature of the assignment, the Public Relations Manager can assist with accommodations, suggested itineraries, passes to attractions and more. Please note that all arrangements are provided through the discretion of the Newport Beach CVB, and are subject to the availability and interest of each facility. Black-out periods may be experienced during the year, which may necessitate a press rate, especially for hotel accommodations.

Please allow 3-4 weeks advance notice for media hosting and itinerary assistance.

Please provide the following information on company letterhead. If you are a freelancer, please include letter of assignment from the assigning news outlet.
