Corona Del Mar
An enchanting seaside village, set between the bluffs of the San Joaquin Hills and the Pacific
Ocean, truly lives up to its name "Crown of the Sea." Take a walk through the architecturally
diverse neighborhoods and enjoy the fabulous flowers on display. Pacific Coast Highway serves as
Corona Del Mar's main drag, and the mile-long stretch is eminently walkable – and shoppable.
Here you'll find an array of fashionable boutiques, antique shops, vintage stores and even a doggy
spa.
Along the way, refresh yourself with a visit to the Sherman Library and Gardens, a 2.2 acre
botanical wonderland that provides a museum of living plants, displayed amidst a setting of
fountains and sculptures and an abundance of seasonal flowers. For sun in the fun, head to Corona
del Mar State Beach known also as "Big Corona," popular for swimmers, volleyball players,
surfers, scuba divers and sunbathers. Enjoy a beach bonfire or picnic with facilities available on
site.
End your day by dining at of the many local restaurants and cafes, pubs or wine bars.
