Evoking a truly transportive European experience, the one-hour Mediterranean-inspired program curated by Pacific Vocal Series President Jay Colwell, will be performed at the Coliseum Pool, set against the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean at the Golden Hour. Embracing grand opera from the standard Italian and French repertoire, the selections will also include recognizable pieces and timeless classics performed by international and Grammy® award-winning artists Deanna Breiwick (Soprano), Kayleigh Decker (Mezzo-Soprano), Frederick Ballentine (Tenor), Alexander Birch Elliott (Baritone), and Peter Walsh (Pianist). The program’s narrative will tell the timeless story of love and beauty, enhanced by the stunning landscape of the Resort. Inspired by the timeless curves of Rome’s famed landmark, the circular design, water, and architecture of the Coliseum Pool creates near-flawless natural acoustics and amplification as the artists effortlessly float, sing, and splash within and around the pool during the performance.
With the purchase of each table, every party of two will enjoy a champagne welcome toast, a bottle of pre-selected red or white wine or champagne, and a pre-fixe presentation of Italian-inspired Aperitivo fare.
