What’s the latest with 3rd Thursdays?

3rd Thursdays is a seasonal event series held 3x-per-year, on the 3rd Thursdays of April, July, and October. This cadence builds on the incredible growth and community support from over 70 local businesses, The File Group, Visit Newport Beach, Mayor Lauren Kleiman, the Corona del Mar Chamber of Commerce, Greet Corona del Mar Magazine, Newport Beach Living, and countless residents, allowing for even more engaging, high-quality experiences each season.

Each event will continue to showcase everything locals love—open businesses, live music, family activities, raffles, performances, promos, and community spirit—with added room for fresh themes, new collaborations, and unique engagements.

Join us for 3rd Thursday, 5-8PM, a vibrant community celebration throughout Corona del Mar Village (along PCH)!

About 3rd Thursdays

This event series is a grass-roots, locally-grown initiative brought to you by The File Group and countless other amazing CdM businesses, listed below. Thank you to our many CdM resident volunteers as well! 

On 3rd Thursdays, CdM residents, visitors, and other attendees can expect open businesses throughout the village offering delicious food, live music, new offerings, sales, discounts,  and community fun in exciting activations like pet events, meetup groups, classes, scavenger hunts, art exhibitions, and much more.

This event series offers residents and visitors a recurring opportunity to discover new spaces and businesses while eating, shopping, and strolling through the village in an open and lively setting. Walk, discover, and dine at local restaurants, collect passport points for special rewards, bring the kids and pups, enjoy pop-ups, specials, giveaways, and more. Experience all that our incredible community has to offer while we’re all out enjoying it together.

Plan an Activity: Consider hosting special promotions, a party, live demonstrations/exhibitions, product samples/offerings or giveaways, or other interactive experiences during the event hours. Send the details of what you will be offering to [email protected], and we will list it on this page and promote it on social media. 

If you do not have a CdM village location or storefront:

Consider reaching out to one of the businesses listed on this page for a pop-up opportunity. 

For pop-ups, The File Group & Foretti’s are happy to provide their parking lot to CdM-based businesses, which will host games, seating areas, vendor booths, and other activities designed to enhance the event experience. Please check with Nick Hampton ([email protected]) before relying on this space. Vendors in this space will be responsible for their own materials, tables, setup and tear down, and are highly encouraged to offer free giveaways and/or product samples, visual elements, or games, to attract event attendees. 

Share Your Content to be Featured on Social Media: The best way to get featured and promoted on social media is to post on Instagram and invite @3rdthursdayscdm as a collaborator. From there, we can share and amplify your reach. You can also capture photos and videos of: your event activities, your product offerings, or your dynamic space, and upload them to this Google Drive folder.
