Celebrate the Halloween season with a fun activity for your child! Horticulturists, Suzanne Hetrick & Sarah Smith, will guide you on how to decorate sugar skulls and learn about celebrating Dia de los Muertos or Day of the Dead (All Souls Day). They will provide all materials needed for two colorful sugar skulls. Bring your creativity and (if you like) a photocopy of a lost loved one (family, friend, pet, celebrity) and a favorite memory to share. If you’ve seen the Disney movie “Coco” you’ll be familiar with the color and pageantry of this beautiful holiday.

Workshop fee is $50 per child, includes one (1) pre-made sugar skull, colorful icing and items for décor. Parent or guardian may either stay and help design or drop off your child(ren) in the workshop but must remain on the Roger’s Gardens property. Please return for prompt pick up at 10:45 AM. Minimum age requirement is 5 years of age. Unfortunately, due to material costs, cancellations after October 12th cannot be refunded. Please bring gloves if desired.
