The Whaler is turning 80, and we’re ready to celebrate eight decades of amazing food, unforgettable moments, breathtaking sunsets.

Founded in Venice, California, The Whaler has been the go-to spot for rockstars, beach lovers, and foodies alike. Over the years, we’ve hosted legendary rock bands, served up mouthwatering menus, and offered unbeatable views of the ocean, all while staying true to our roots as a local-driven hotspot.

As we look back on these 80 incredible years, we can’t help but be grateful for the real stars of The Whaler – our amazing employees and loyal customers, who have made every day here something to celebrate. Whether you’re dancing the night away, enjoying our famous fish tacos, catching the biggest game or toasting with friends over a craft cocktail, you’ve been part of the magic that keeps The Whaler alive and thriving.

The month-long celebration kicks off on November 1st, with drink and food specials you won’t want to miss. All three of our locations will be hosting special events, live music, and plenty of surprises to honor this milestone.
