Bring out the red, white, and blue on July 4, 2024, as we celebrate Independence Day on the Back Bay! Our annual celebration will bring you a day filled with live entertainment, activities, water sports, food trucks, full bars, and a special firework show co-sponsored by the City of Newport Beach.
Gates open at 8:00 a.m.
Fireworks at 9 p.m.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
- Moe B’s Munchies – 4th of July hours 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
- Water Sports Rentals – 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (closes early to prepare for firework show)
- The Inflatable Water Park – Reserve online 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (closes early to prepare for the firework show)
- Food Trucks and Full Bars – 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- Live entertainment: Tunes at the Dunes – 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm – The Class will be playing oldies, classic rock and top 40’s hits from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm!
- Fireworks show co-sponsored by the City of Newport Beach – 9:00 pm

FREE ENTRY and paid parking.
Food, beverage, rentals and onsite parking are additional.
EVENT PARKING
On July 4, 2024, Newport Dunes’ Independence Day on the Bay celebration is $100 pre-paid reserved parking in our main paved lot (located off Jamboree & Back Bay Drive). Reserved parking will be available for purchase beginning at the end of May.
Day-of parking will also be available for $50 in a further, unpaved lot (enter off Bayside Drive & Pacific Coast Highway). Day-of parking is on a first-come, first-served basis and fills up quickly. We recommend arriving early.
