Baking Spirits Bright

A Holiday Baking & Afternoon Tea Experience

Gather your favorite baking partner and celebrate the magic of the season at Hyatt Regency Newport Beach. Whether you’re attending as a parent and child, grandparent and grandchild, aunt and niece, uncle and nephew, godparent and godchild, or any special adult and child duo, this festive holiday experience is designed to create sweet memories together.

Begin the afternoon with a hands-on Christmas cookie baking class led by our culinary team. Working side by side, you’ll learn simple baking techniques, holiday decorating tips, and create delicious festive cookies from scratch.

While your cookies bake, relax and enjoy a charming Holiday Afternoon Tea featuring seasonal teas, delicate finger sandwiches, and an assortment of holiday-inspired sweets. It’s the perfect opportunity to slow down, connect, and savor the spirit of the season.

Then, return to the baking table for the most colorful part of the day. Decorate your freshly baked cookies with festive icing, sprinkles, and holiday embellishments before packaging your creations in a special take-home cookie box.
