As Newport Beach welcomes the fall season, the Balboa Island Improvement Association and Balboa Island Merchants Association invite residents and visitors alike to the Balboa Island Carnival & Taste of the Island. The event, which will take place on Marine Ave., the main island thoroughfare, will offer fun for the entire family. The Balboa Island Carnival & Taste of the Island will be a celebration of the charming beach community.

When:   Sunday, Sept. 15, 1-5 p.m.

Where:  Balboa Island – 200 Block of Marine Ave.

Activity highlights include:

    – Carnival games                       –  Rides

    – Dunk tank                                 – Bungee jump

    – Pie-eating contest                   – Food stations
