Newport Beach Public Library invites the public to the second annual Digital Saturday at the Central Library on Saturday, September 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Library will showcase its digital resources, including downloadable books, audiobooks and magazines, online research materials and homework help, and software and tech toys available for creating digital art, photography, audio and film projects.

DIGITAL SATURDAY PROGRAM SCHEDULE

11:00 a.m.    Media Lab and Sound Lab Basics

11:00 a.m.    Children’s Online Learning Resources in the Children’s Room

12:00 noon    Introduction to Lynda.com

1:00 p.m.     Axis 360 Downloadable Books

2:00 p.m.     Introduction to Ancestry.com

3:00 p.m.     Media Lab and Sound Lab Basics

3:30 p.m.     Grand prize drawing for iPad courtesy of Axis 360

All programs will last approximately 30 minutes and will be held in the Media Lab at the Central Library, 1000 Avocado Avenue, Newport Beach.
