The Pacific Symphony makes its triumphant return to Newport Beach on August 17th with a free outdoor concert on the Civic Center Green

Symphony in the Cities unites thousands of people each year for lively concerts in local parks, offering a mix of classical favorites, popular music, and patriotic tunes. Led by a member of Pacific Symphony’s conducting staff, the event invites audiences to join in a spirited sing-along of patriotic songs. To enrich the evening, the Symphony offers a pre-concert Musical Playground filled with interactive, hands-on activities for children.

Time: 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m (Family pre-concert activities, 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., and geared toward children 5 to 11 years old)

Parking: Available at the Civic Center parking structure or across the street. 

Additional information: The public is encouraged to bring chairs and/or blankets; Food trucks available; Musicians will perform about a dozen songs, including classical, broadway and patriotic music.
