The City of Newport Beach and Pacific Symphony and City National Bank present Symphony in the Cities, a free concert featuring Pacific Symphony playing a variety of popular classics, selections from “The Sound of Music” and patriotic tunes. The concert will be held on the Civic Green in front of the Newport Beach Public Library entrance. Bring low-back chairs, blankets, and a picnic dinner, or purchase food from one of the food trucks on-site. Come early so children can participate in the Musical Playground activities preceding the concert.
Musical Playground: Family activities and local music acts begin at 5:30 p.m.
The Musical Playground features many interactive and hands-on activities for children, including instrument making, a drum circle, an instrument petting zoo, and an opportunity to meet the musicians. .
