Easter Eggcitement in Newport Beach
Since the first full moon falls late this April, and hence so does Easter, holiday activities having been springing up around Newport Beach throughout the month. But if you missed the early-bird hunts and egg-dyeing parties, not to worry: There’s plenty of fun still to come — from more eggcellent treasure hunts to beautiful brunches to decorating with blooms. Somebunny is Burrowing at Fashion Island

Easter Sunday at Pelican Hill
Hop on over to Pelican Hill for an Easter Sunday brunch and egg hunt. This annual occasion brings families together for spring-inspired fun and a heavenly brunch presented by Executive Chef Jean-Pierre Dubray. The brunch will consist of traditional favorites, accented with California and Tuscan flavors. Fresh Floral Workshop
Roger’s Gardens invites you to “celebrate the spring season” by hosting an Easter Floral Workshop at 5 p.m. on April 18. Beachin’ Egg Hunt
From 9 to 11 a.m. on April 20, the Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort invites families to gather for a celebratory egg hunt along the coast. Children will search for more than 6,000 eggs carrying candy treats, fun toys and even cash — and one lucky little hunter will discover an egg holding the ticket to a new bicycle!
