The Coliseum Pool at The Resort at Pelican Hill

From the state-of-the-art Pelican Hill Golf Club to an abundance of places to stroll, dine and sip, it’s no wonder this sumptuous resort has a five-star reputation. The newest addition to Newport Beach’s portfolio of hotels, Pendry Newport Beach is a stunning, urban-chic hub full of world-class amenities.The pool deck, while not huge, is well-appointed, with shady cabanas and cushioned lounge chairs, perfect for a day of lounging and catching some rays. Tree Shack Pool & Bar serves up thirst-quenching cocktails and local brews, along with poolside bites like birria tacos, local tuna and coconut ceviche and a roasted jalapeño Caesar salad. At night, guests can take a dip in the hot tub, which sits adjacent to a crackling outdoor fireplace.

VEA Newport Beach

VEA Newport Beach made a splash on the Newport Beach scene when it officially opened its doors in the spring of 2022. Formerly the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa, this stunning property underwent a complete rebrand that included several renovations—one of those being its pool deck. VEA now offers a destination pool experience like no other, with cabanas and an outdoor bar that overlooks the golf course.
