2019 Michelin Guide California Recognized, Gracias Madre Opens Second Location

Gracias Madre opened its doors to Newport Beach on Nov. 15th to much excitement and fanfare. This will be the sister location to the flagship LA restaurant and will have its own take on the signature vegan Mexican menu. The new location will also carry on the tradition of the Gracias Madre bar program, offering organic, artisanal tequila and mezcal craft cocktails. The space will welcome the addition of a private dining room, which will be ideal for holiday gatherings. For larger celebrations, the entire space will be available for buyouts. Gracias Madre also offers catering services for offsite events. https://www.graciasmadre.co/newport_beach

CdM Restaurant Unveils New Private Event Space

Newport Beach new hot spot, CdM, introduced its new, exclusive dining experience in their private space called, The Apartment. It is located above the restaurant and has a separate entrance and VIP service. The Apartment can accommodate up to 20 guests for intimate gatherings and parties. Newport Beach Restaurant Week to Include Brunch and Record-Breaking Number of Participants

Newport Beach Restaurant Week returns as Orange County’s longest-standing restaurant week, Jan. 13, 2020 for its 14th year. New this year will be weekend brunch offerings from participating restaurants starting at just $15. Hyatt Regency John Wayne Airport Newport Beach Unveils Fresh Renovation

Hyatt Regency John Wayne Airport Newport Beach completed their multi-million-dollar redesign and renovation in late November. ‘Cycleboat’ Cruises to Newport Harbor

A 31-foot-long pontoon boat will soon be in Newport Harbor with up to 10 people pedaling the boat as its main energy source. Guests are allowed to bring food and beverages on board for their excursion on the water. Tours will last an estimated 90 minutes and the company hopes to set sail by early 2020. https://cycleboats.com/

Lauren Conrad Opens Pop-Up Shop at Fashion Island

Orange County natives Lauren Conrad and best friend Hannah Skvarla have opened The Little Market at Fashion Island. The Little Market is a nonprofit fair-trade shop with the intent of supporting women and children in disadvantaged communities worldwide. Each unique item sold in the store is handmade by female artisans from Bangladesh to Kenya and profits will help enable these women to be in charge of their income. https://www.thelittlemarket.com/

 SkinSpirit Set to Open First Southern California Location

SkinSpirit is a favorite amongst those in Northern California and Washington and is set to open its first Southern California location at The Walk shopping center at Westcliff Drive and Irvine Avenue before the end of 2019.  CHANEL Beaute Coming to Fashion Island

From the House of CHANEL, CHANEL Beaute will be a dedicated fragrance and beauty boutique featuring makeup, skincare, fragrance and exclusive CHANEL products. The store will open its first Orange County location in Fashion Island in February 2020.

Shoppe Amber Interiors Coming to Lido Marina Village

Los Angeles based interior designer Amber Lewis is set to open her third brick-and-mortar store in Lido Marina Village in Spring 2020. Shoppe Amber Interiors carries a unique selection of quality-driven furniture, vintage textiles, lighting, home décor and more that embrace the laid-back aesthetic of California.
