Fable & Spirit welcomes summer in Newport Beach’s Lido Marina by extending its Dinner service to Monday, giving loyal locals and visitors the opportunity to dine at the restaurant every night of the week. In addition, Executive Chef David Shofner will offer his noted Fabled Fried Chicken as a special, expertly paired with a half-bottle of champagne by Sommelier Ali Coyle – exclusively on Mondays.
Fable & Spirit’s Fabled Fried Chicken was first introduced during the pandemic, when it gained a significant fan club in Newport Beach before being added to the menu of sister restaurant, Dublin 4 Gastropub in Mission Viejo. Served with jalapeno cheddar cornbread, applewood-smoked bacon, collard greens, potato puree, and habanero honey, the fried chicken entrée will be offered every Monday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Fable & Spirit.
“Summers in Newport Beach’s Lido Marina are always full of energy and excitement, so were looking forward to taking full advantage of that by welcoming guests seven days a week,” explained Darren Coyle, who owns Fable & Spirit with his wife, Jean. “By offering our famous Fabled Fried Chicken with an exceptional champagne pairing every Monday, we are confident it will become a very popular night at Fable & Spirit.”
Fable & Spirit now offers Dinner service from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday. Brunch service is offered from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday. Menus and reservation information can be found online at fableandspirit.com.
