Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and while many enjoy hosting family and friends, we’re here to lighten the load on those who don’t prefer to play chef. This year, several Newport Beach restaurants are eager to make your Thanksgiving stress-free by offering an assortment of dine-in and takeout meals. So hang up your apron and leave the cooking to the pros. These restaurants are ready to fill your plate with a variety of festive Thanksgiving eats!

Pendry Newport Beach

This Thanksgiving, Pendry Newport Beach invites foodies to experience the season in true coastal style with two exceptional celebrations. The festivities begin on Saturday, Nov. 16, with Chefsgiving, a special (21+) evening that brings together some of Orange County’s top chefs. Each chef will showcase their unique culinary take on Thanksgiving classics at chef-attended action stations, creating a feast of diverse flavors accompanied by live entertainment. A portion of each ticket goes directly to Second Harvest Food Bank, supporting the local community with access to nutritious food.

Then, on Thanksgiving Day, Pendry’s SET Steak & Sushi will offer an elegant, three-course Thanksgiving dinner featuring holiday favorites, seasonal cocktails and an impressive wine selection. This sophisticated dining experience runs from 3-8 p.m., offering a festive yet refined setting perfect for family and friends.

VIEW Restaurant & Lounge

Feasting at VEA Newport Beach’s VIEW Restaurant & Lounge is an experience worth celebrating. The restaurant’s dining room is a hidden gem in the heart of the Fashion Island area, and the California coastal menu, along with a selection of tableside martinis, makes for an elevated culinary experience in Newport Beach. This Thanksgiving, VIEW is offering a three-course prix fixe dinner menu priced at $125 per person. Come feast on dishes like roasted parsnip and vanilla bean soup, garlic and sage turkey breast and ratatouille-stuffed acorn squash from 3-10 p.m.

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

Enjoy an upscale Thanksgiving feast this year at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, located at Fashion Island. This classic steakhouse is offering a three-course menu chock-full of all the fall dishes you crave. Start with the Fleming’s Salad or lobster bisque, then move on to mains like the mixed-herb roasted turkey breast with turkey gravy, prime bone-in ribeye or petite filet mignon. Pair your pick with one of three delicious sides like creamy mashed potatoes, green beans with apricots and onions or cinnamon-orange cranberry sauce. Be sure to leave room for desserts like Fleming’s Harvest New York Cheesecake or three-layer carrot cake!

Price: Starting $65 per adult; $31 per child

Bayside Restaurant

Book a table at Bayside Restaurant this Thanksgiving and enjoy a prix-fixe menu featuring starters like tartare of ahi tuna, roasted beets and California goat cheese, butternut squash soup and more. This year’s entree will be Diestel Farms oven-roasted organic turkey, served with brioche vegetable herb stuffing, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, pan drippings gravy, roasted vegetables and orange-scented cranberry sauce. And to end things on a sweet note, Bayside Restaurant will offer guests a choice of pumpkin pie or butterscotch budino.

Price: $82 per adult; $39 per child (12 and under)

The Winery Restaurant & Wine Bar

Kickstart your day of eating at The Winery Restaurant & Wine Bar! White tablecloths, harbor views and a warm ambiance make this restaurant the perfect place to spend your holiday. This year’s Thanksgiving menu will feature starters like a roasted butternut squash bisque and pumpkin and ricotta ravioli. Entree options include your choice of traditional maple-glazed free-range turkey, jumbo wild white shrimp, orange-honey glazed pork chop and zinfandel braised short rib. But don’t fill up too fast—you’ll definitely want a bite of streusel pumpkin pie or chocolate cheesecake!

Price: $95 per guest; $30 per child (“Little Buddies” menu)

21 Oceanfront

Seafood, steaks and ocean views are just a few things you’ll enjoy at 21 Oceanfront this Thanksgiving. This time-honored waterfront restaurant boasts beautiful views of the pier and an upscale ambiance—perfect for any holiday or celebration. This year, you and your loved ones can savor delicious entrees like herb-roasted turkey, sage butter scallops, prime New York steak or pan-seared salmon, as well as classic sides like stuffing, sautéed green beans, gravy, butternut squash and more. 21 Oceanfront is also prepared to feed your kiddos with plates like sliced turkey, chicken tenders, pasta marinara, garlic mashed potatoes and French fries.

Price: $92 per adult; $30 per child (ages 2-10)

Tavern House Kitchen + Bar

Enjoy a full feast at Tavern House Kitchen + Bar this year! This seaside restaurant is serving up all the Thanksgiving classics, in addition to some Tavern House favorites like their New England clam chowder and Santa Fe Caesar. Guests can dig into entrees like traditional herb-roasted turkey, salt and black pepper roasted prime rib and Chilean sea bass. Each of these dishes comes with a variety of tasty sides like mashed potatoes, creamed corn, whipped butternut squash and cranberry relish.

Price: $75 per adult; $30 per child

Balboa Bay Resort

Make it a family affair this year at Balboa Bay Resort, where Executive Chef Prabeen Prathapan and the talented team are whipping up a delicious Thanksgiving brunch for you to dig into. Enjoy everything from a seafood bar and waffle station to dishes like traditional roasted turkey, herb-marinated ribeye, roasted apple and sage stuffing and winter squash ravioli. The Resort at Pelican Hill

The stunning Resort at Pelican Hill is serving up Thanksgiving feasts in The Great Room and at Pelican Grill this year, so the choice is yours! Enjoy a day with family in The Great Room (11 a.m.-5 p.m.) and nosh on freshly made omelets, seasonal salads, truffle butter roasted turkey breast, parmesan-crusted tomahawk steak and ricotta lemon pancakes. If you prefer to dine at Pelican Grill (11 a.m.-8:30 p.m.), make a reservation and feast on fresh seafood, prime meats and homemade dishes. There will also be a caviar trolley, artisanal cheese and charcuterie and a tartare bar featuring Wagyu beef tenderloin and ahi tuna.

The Great Room: $165+ per adult; $55+ per child (under 12)

Pelican Grill: $235+ per adult; $55+ per child (under 12)
