Basilic Restaurant, located on Balboa Island in Newport Beach California, first opened its doors by chef/owner Bernard Althaus in February 1997. The intimate and romantic 24-seat restaurant has since proved that good things do in fact come in small packages. Since then, Bernard has cooked each dish on his menu to order with special attention to detail for each and every guest to enjoy.
