DAY 1
AFTERNOON
You and your group have arrived! Take time to check into your hotel and unpack.
Get a Lay of the Land
Grab your hiking shoes, it’s time to stretch out those legs on a short hike around the Back Bay! This 3.5-mile leisure loop along the bluffs of the Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve is filled with diverse plant and animal life.
After your hike, make your way to the restaurants in Westcliff to refuel your body. Gracias Madre offers Mexican vegan food that is healthy and delicious with unique cocktails that the restaurant is known for.
EVENING
In the summer, Pirate Coast Paddle Company offers guided night tours on glow-in-the-dark stand up paddleboards. Glide your way across the calm waters of Newport Harbor for an unforgettable experience!
DAY 2
MORNING
Head over to Balboa Island to stroll around Marine Avenue. Grab warm pastries from Balboa Island Baking Company and browse the unique array of boutiques or walk the entire 2.5-mile perimeter of the island. After, take the Balboa Island Ferry across to Balboa Village for more exploring.
AFTERNOON
Time to Fly with California Parasail
Enjoy breathtaking views from above the ocean with California Parasail! This exhilarating ride above Newport Beach’s coastline will get you the best views of the surrounding coast and even Catalina Island.
After your time in the sky, rent a Duffy boat from Balboa Boat Rentals to begin your Dock & Dine journey. Use your boat to order from harborside restaurant around Newport Restaurant such as The Cannery, Tavern House, Billy’s by the Beach and more!
EVENING
To wrap up a great day, grab a scoop of ice cream from Atomic Creamery and leisurely stroll the shops at Fashion Island. This outdoor shopping plaza is home to a mix of popular boutiques, department stores and restaurants.
DAY 3
MORNING
Grab a quick bite to eat from Lighthouse Café to fuel your next adventure! We recommend the Lighthouse Benedict or the Lemon Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes.
Spot Some Whales!
