Father’s Day is right around the corner, which means it’s time to celebrate Dad! This year, Newport Beach’s best restaurants are working hard behind the scenes to make June 20 as special as can be. From limited-edition brunch menus to decadent three-course dinners, here’s a list of where to dine with Dad this Sunday!
Treat Dad to a two-course Father’s Day brunch this weekend at Bayside Restaurant for $55 per person. This meal includes complimentary free-flowing champagne and mimosas or a choice of draught beer (Stella Artois, Goose Island IPA or seasonal selection). The first course comes with a choice of starter—think soup, salads, carpaccio and crab cakes—and the main course features your choice of brunch/lunch dish, including offerings like the “Bayside” Benedict, Oven-Roasted Rack of Lamb, Frittata and more.
For a few months now, Farmhouse at Roger’s Gardens has offered a delicious Sunday Brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Enjoy the lush, open-air setting and feast on summer favorites like the seasonal French toast or seasonal frittata. Whether you’re looking to kick off your Sunday with a festive brunch or end it with a special dinner, Five Crowns in Corona del Mar is offering two pre-fixe menus (brunch and lunch) for an unrivaled Father’s Day dining experience! For the morning folks, the brunch menu is jam-packed with items like Shrimp Cocktail, Prime Rib Hash, Strawberry Shortcake and Crab Benedict, while the dinner menu features dishes like Roasted Prime Rib, Steak Frites and Halibut Succotash.
This Sunday, head to the newly refreshed Balboa Bay Resort for the 14th Annual Father’s Day Car Show! Start with a fresh-chopped salad, then choose between entrees like the Petite Filet Mignon & Crab-stuffed Shrimp Scampi, Petite Filet Mignon & Lobster Tail Scampi or Prime Surf & Turf. This fine-dining venue on Newport Harbor is kicking things off with a Father’s Day brunch from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sit down to a three-course menu with dishes like Clam Chowder, Calamari Fritti, Seared Salmon Benedict, Bacon-Wrapped Filet and Eggs and more!
