The Old Glory Boat Parade

For a classic Fourth of July celebration, dive into the patriotic spirit at the American Legion Yacht Club’s The Old Glory Boat Parade! During this cherished annual tradition, boat owners adorn their vessels in vibrant red, white and blue for a festive cruise around Newport Harbor. If you’re a boat owner, get creative and decorate your vessel for a chance to win awards like “Best Decorated,” “Best Theme” and “Best Music.” Prefer to be a spectator? Grab a spot on the sand and enjoy the parade as the fleet sails by, starting at 1 p.m. It’s the perfect way to celebrate Independence Day with family and friends!

Movies on the Beach in Crystal Cove
Summer movies on the sand? Sounds like a California dream! The Crystal Cove Conservancy is upping the fun factor this summer by hosting movies on the beach on July 25 from 8-10 p.m. in Crystal Cove State Park. Bring your friends, family, beach chairs and blankets, and don’t forget your favorite movie snacks! This movie viewing experience under the stars will take place at the Historic District beach just south of Los Trancos Creek outlet. Don’t miss out on this epic summertime event!
