To help you make the most of the season, we’ve rounded up the can’t-miss events happening all across Newport Beach this spring and summer. Each one offering a unique way to savor the sunshine, connect with the community, and celebrate coastal living at its finest:

Gray Whale Migration | Ongoing

Each spring, tens of thousands of gray whales pass along the Newport Beach coastline in one of nature’s most awe-inspiring spectacles. High Tea at Viamara at Pendry Newport Beach | Weekends, 12–3PM

Every weekend, delight in a sophisticated SoCal take on the timeless tradition of High Tea. Indulge in house made pastries, elegant tea sandwiches, and premium teas—with an optional champagne upgrade—inside the chic elegance of Pendry Newport Beach. Reservations required 48 hours in advance.

3^rd Thursdays at Corona del Mar Village | Third Thursday of every month, 5–8PM

Revel in the charm of Corona del Mar as the village comes alive each month with live music, food tastings, art exhibits, and community fun. From pup-friendly pop-ups to shop-local scavenger hunts, it’s the perfect way to rediscover the neighborhood.

Wildlife Jewels Earth Day Sweep & Learn for Wildlife Walk | April 27

Newport Beach International Boat Show | May 1–4

Explore the pinnacle of yachting luxury with a reimagined experience that blends entertainment, activations, and stunning vessels. From sleek watercraft to elegant lounges, the show celebrates the elevated lifestyle that defines Newport Beach.

• Thursday, May 1: Pre-Show Access (2PM–7PM)
  Be among the first to explore cutting-edge yachts, marine technology, and premium brand activations before the crowds arrive. This exclusive early-access experience offers a first look at the luxury lifestyle that defines Newport Harbor.
• Thursday, May 1: Opening Party presented by Revel Republic x Nobu (6:30PM–10PM)

Newport Beach Wine & Spirits Festival | May 23–25

Set sail into summer over Memorial Day Weekend at Balboa Bay Resort’s signature three-day celebration of wine, spirits, and coastal cuisine. With scenic harbor views, curated tastings, and indulgent bites, this elegant festival blends flavor, community, and philanthropy.

• Friday, May 23: Jean-Charles Boisset Winemaker Dinner

30th Annual Balboa Island Parade | June 1

This year’s beloved parade pays tribute to our first responders with island flair, a nod to Fire Station #4’s 30th anniversary, and an after-party concert with “M Street Band.” Bring your chairs, your spirit, and your red, white & blue.

Newport Beach TV Fest | June 5–8
Be part of the inaugural celebration of television arts, hosted by the Newport Beach Film Festival. Taking place at Lido Theater and The Port Theater, this four-day event spotlights emerging talent, hit shows, and creative voices from networks and streaming platforms.

Father’s Day Burgers, Bourbon & Cigars | June 9

Explore “The Boys in the Boat” exhibit, featuring rowing boats reminiscent of the beloved story.
