Happy Halloween! Oct. 31 marks the final day of spooky season, and before we bid farewell, we’re sharing all the tricks and treats! Skip the store-bought candy this year (it’ll be on sale tomorrow anyway), grab your ghouls and goblins and indulge in Newport Beach’s cornucopia of creepy confections. Local bakeries, ice cream shops and candy stores are embracing the Halloween spirit and stirring up all kinds of toil and trouble with frightfully delicious treats! Here’s where to treat yourself to a good ‘ol sugar rush this Halloween.

Spooky Treat: Bewitched Red Velvet Cupcake

Sprinkles Cupcakes is giving their classic red velvet cupcake an eerie makeover this month! This confection, which is typically made with red velvet cake and white frosting, now has eyes and is rolled in Halloween sprinkles. Don’t believe us? Try this wickedly devilicious treat for yourself! Other October creations include the pumpkin, double-stuffed Oreo, Twix and black velvet, should you decide to get a dozen.
