Street style is an essential force that drives both the high fashion industry and high street trends. I set out to scour the streets, the beach and shopping hubs in order to find the best this art form had to offer in Newport Beach. What I found was a lot of super casual mommas but equally stylish people who truly cared about what they looked like.

Leave it to Newport Beach to show a diversity of looks. From stroller pushing Moms, men on their way to work in a perfectly tailored suit to high fashion gals in too high of heels. Being a voyeur on one of their many benches and curbside cafes proved to be so much fun I didn’t want to leave.

He’s got the blues: There were some definite men’s street style fashion but what I noticed was that they payed extra attention to their shoes. This gentleman braved the streets in cream pants and a v-neck sweater while taking a lunch break on the beach; but it was that one stand out piece, those blue shoes that had me running up to talk to him.
