Thursday, March 26 

Start your day early at the Newport Beach Country Club for day one of the Hoag SENIOR PLAYERS Newport Beach. Golf enthusiasts won’t want to miss the Aston Martin Newport Beach Legends Pro-Am, with 7:30 AM and 1:30 PM shotgun starts, where golf legends team up with amateurs on the championship course. Bring your camera for a chance to see some of the biggest names in golf in action. Gate hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, giving plenty of time to catch the excitement. 

After the morning rounds, take a short drive to Balboa Island, a charming destination filled with boutiques, galleries, cafés, and family-owned restaurants. Spend the afternoon strolling along Marine Avenue, exploring unique shops, and be sure to treat yourself to a famous Balboa Bar from Sugar ‘n Spice, a chocolate-dipped ice cream favorite.

Friday, March 27

Kick off day two of the Hoag SENIOR PLAYERS Newport Beach with a morning of golf excitement at the Newport Beach Country Club. Gate hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Round 1 tee times run from 9:15 AM to 11:15 AM on the 1st and 10th tees. Catch all the action later on Golf Channel from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM PST. Don’t miss the TP-Link Systems Inc. Celebrity Challenge tee-off at 2:30 PM, where well-known personalities hit the course alongside amateurs. For those with proper credentials, the Ritz-Carlton Residences Newport Beach Luxury Club is open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, offering a plush retreat to relax between rounds. 

Wrap up the day with the signature 19th Hole Celebration, taking place from approximately 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, where guests can mingle, toast the day’s highlights, and enjoy the lively Newport Beach atmosphere. 

Saturday, March 28

Celebrate Salute to Service Day at the Hoag SENIOR PLAYERS Championship Newport Beach as the tournament honors Folds of Honor. Gates open at 8:00 AM, followed by the Folds of Honor Opening Ceremony around 8:45 AM. Round 2 tee times run from 9:15 AM to 11:15 AM on the 1st and 10th tees, with Golf Channel coverage from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM PST. 

The day features the Celebrity Challenge tee-off at 2:30 PM on the 10th Tee, and special recognition for the Salute to Service honorees on the 18th Green at approximately 3:00 PM, concluding with the Closing Ceremony immediately following play. Guests with credentials can relax at the Ritz-Carlton Residences Newport Beach Luxury Club, open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. 

As the sun sets, head to VEA Newport Beach for the Hoag Classic Sunset Celebration, beginning at 6:30 PM. This ticketed evening offers live music, premium views, and a festive atmosphere to cap off an unforgettable day on the course. 

Sunday, March 29

Wrap up the Hoag SENIOR PLAYERS Newport Beachwith the final round on Student Day, presented by Kingston Technology. Gates are open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and students 18 and under are admitted free with a ticketed adult. Round 3 tee times run from 9:15 AM to 11:15 AM on the 1st and 10th tees, with Golf Channel coverage from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM PST. 

Students and visitors can join the Chipotle First Tee “Chip”ping Clinic from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chipping Green across from the Newport Beach Country Club Clubhouse. Following the final holes, the Champions Trophy Presentation takes place at 4:00 PM on the 18th Green, immediately followed by the Closing Ceremony. Guests with credentials can enjoy the Ritz-Carlton Residences Newport Beach Luxury Club, open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM for a relaxing retreat between rounds. 

After the tournament concludes, cap off your weekend with shopping and dining at Fashion Island, just minutes from the Newport Beach Country Club. Grab a late lunch at JOEY Newport Beach, catch a movie at THE LOT, or simply stroll and enjoy the lifestyle offerings before returning to your hotel to reflect on an epic Hoag SENIOR PLAYERS Newport Beach weekend.
