The Hyatt Regency Newport Beach has a romance package that gives you time to reconnect.    The package includes full breakfast, champagne and strawberries, and a 2pm late checkout.

Island Hotel Newport Beach offers the “Stay ‘Til You’re Happy” package which allows couples to enjoy their visit without worrying about an early checkout.  Guests are guaranteed an 8pm checkout time and complimentary valet service is included.

The Newport Beach Marriott Bayview offers a getaway for two including a suite, champagne upon arrival and breakfast for two in the restaurant or in the room.

The Carlton Newport Beach wants you to reignite your romance with deluxe accommodations, dinner for two, champagne, and chocolate covered strawberries, as well as late checkout upon request.

DINE
For an intimate dinner with an oceanfront view, 21 Oceanfront offers a Prix Fixe menu Sunday through Thursday, which includes three courses for $39 per person.

Basilic is a quaint restaurant featuring Swiss-French cuisine.   You won’t be among the masses here.  The atmosphere is intimate as the restaurant only has seating for 24 people.

Gulfstream offers an upscale seafood experience, where all of the fish is served within 24-hours of being caught.   Enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail as you snuggle by the fire on the back patio.

Kitayama offers Japanese cuisine as many of the guests sit in cozy booths looking onto lush gardens.   The lights are low and the atmosphere is great for whispering sweet nothings in each other’s ears.

Mastro’s Ocean Club offers a romantic setting with a sunset view as couples can dine indoors or out on the patio.   The classic steakhouse has highly acclaimed cuisine, and world-class service, and guests enjoy live entertainment.

Of course lovers can enjoy a romantic evening at sea, enjoying the Dock & Dine experience aboard a Duffy electric boat and visiting such restaurants as The Cannery, Seafood of the Pacific.  Couples can also spend hours at sea attending an event like the Hornblower Cruises and Event’s Romantic Dinner-Dance Cruise.

Cruise
Before returning to your hotel, end the night with an experience straight from the canals of Venice, Italy with a romantic serenaded gondola tour in the Newport Harbor.  Thousands of couples have snuggled under the moonlit skies while enjoying a spectacular cruise.   Some have made lasting memories aboard by proposing to their loved one or exchanging vows.

Whether your experience is for a wedding, proposal, or simply to say, “I love you” to a special person in your life, Gondola Adventures, Gondola Company of Newport and Gondola Romance all offer scenic tours of Newport Beach.
Right now Gondola Romance offers a package including dinner for two at Le Bistro and 1/2 hour Gondola Cruise for $100.

Romance comes in many experiences and flavors in Newport Beach, whether you prefer to whisk your loved one around town or prefer checking in and never leaving the room, there’s something for everyone when they visit Newport Beach.
