Luckily, many Newport Beach restaurants offer great happy hour deals. From glasses of wine for under $6 to mini pizzas from one of the area’s most authentic pizzerias for just $7, Newport Beach offers tons of happy hour deals to choose from.

Unexpected Happy Hours in Newport BeachZov’s Neighborhood Cafe & Bar
Locals flock to Zov’s for its modern American and Mediterranean fare and extensive wine list, and their happy hour deals deserve to be just as sought-after. The Newport Coast spot’s upscale casual feel and sophisticated cocktails that guests appreciate during lunch and dinner can also be enjoyed during happy hour, and wow does Zov’s do happy hour right. Offered daily from 3 PM – 6 PM at the bar and on the patio, Zov’s offers some delicious elevated libations for under $10. Get a Belvedere Martini for only $9.95 or a Melon Mule made with Grey Goose melon vodka for just $8.95. Plus, select wines are only $6.95, so a couple glasses after work won’t break the bank!

Juliette Kitchen + BarJuliette Kitchen and Bar
Located in the Airport District, Juliette Kitchen & Bar offers a warm and inviting, rustic feel. They serve food focused on modern dishes using seasonally and locally inspired ingredients and offer some great happy hour deals. Juliette prides themselves on being a place for interesting conversations, good drinks and delicious food. “Social Hour,” Juliette’s version of happy hour, is from 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and offers some great deals. Grab $2 off draft beer, $7 house wine, and $8 house cocktails, plus deals on yummy bites to go with your libation of choice.

Campus Jax
Music lovers will really appreciate the environment at Campus Jax. They offer a unique atmosphere of live blues and jazz to feed the mind, body, and soul. Campus Jax is perfect for a cozy happy hour, filled with music and maybe even some dance. Happy hour is from 3 PM – 7 PM, Monday through Friday, and guests can enjoy $2 off draught beers, $3 off glasses of wine, $6 Hurricanes, and small plates starting at just $4. Try the Tri-Tip Sliders for $8 or Spicy Tuna Dip for $5. They also offer $4 Blvd Taco Tuesdays, where taco fans can indulge in a Salmon & Avocado taco or a Blackened Tri-Tip taco. Fun fact: Campus Jax was the first Surfrider Foundation Certified Ocean Friendly restaurant in Newport Beach.

Hopdoddy Burger Bar
Located in Fashion Island, stop by Hopdoddy after a day of shopping for some killer happy hour specials. The burgers are exceptional and are created using the freshest all-natural ingredients and the black angus beef is hormone and antibiotic free. Guests of Hopdoddy will find $2 off all crafted burgers, $5 Truffle or Queso Fries and $5 selected wine, beer and other sips Monday through Friday from 3 PM – 6 PM. Hopdoddy offers over 10 different hot buns to go with your cold beer, including a spicy jalapeno burger, an exceptionally fresh ahi tuna burger, and of course, a classic juicy burger.

Settebello
Settebello is one of the most notable pizza spots in Newport Beach, and their happy hour menu offerings are just as impressive. Located in the Crystal Cove Shopping Center, Settebello Pizzeria Napoletana uses fresh ingredients and an artisan oven to create the most authentic pizza Napoletana possible. Happy hour is offered from 3 PM – 6 PM, Monday through Friday, you can grab craft cocktails like the Negroni or Moscow Mule for for $6, beer for $3 off, $6 bruschetta, and “pizzette,” or mini pizzas for only $7. Pro tip: the Margherita and spicy Diavola pizzas are both a “must”!

Fig & Olive
Fig & Olive is a French Riviera oasis. Surrounded by olive trees, gardens and outdoor seating options, Fig & Olive’s ‘Aperitivo Happy Hour’ is offered daily from 4 PM – 7 PM. Small bites are just $5 – $12, and specialty cocktails like the Raspberry Mojito and Rossellini are only $9. Fig & Olive’s delicious crostini are offered at 3 pieces for $8, and options include goat cheese and caramelized onion, octopus and hummus, and prosciutto and ricotta. During aperitivo, wine and beer range between and $7 – $8. Other shared plates, including a $13 cheese board and $5 truffle fries, cannot be missed.

A&O Kitchen + Bar
Located along the water’s edge, A&O Kitchen + Bar is perfect for happy hour-goers looking for a view. This Newport Beach spot features rustic wood floors, a reclaimed barn wall, communal dining tables and a bar top overlooking the harbor. Their happy hour is offered from 4 PM – 6 PM daily, and some highlights from the menu include the Moscow Mule, Hidden Crush Cabernet, gin and tonic, and draft beers, each only $6. The outdoor patio offers comfortable seating and a fire pit, where happy hour patrons can munch on shishito peppers for $6 and a bucket of chicken wings for $8.
