106th Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade

Tonight, the Newport Beach community and parade viewers celebrated opening night of the 106th Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade! If you missed tonight’s holiday light spectacle, you can come to Newport Beach for the next five days, until Sunday the 21st! Each evening throughout the five days, from 6:30 – 9pm, the Parade will make its way through Newport Harbor, providing a magical holiday celebration for revelers of all ages who may watch the Parade free from many places around Newport Harbor, as well as from Newport Beach’s popular waterfront restaurants, charter boats, holiday dining cruises, and more!

This year comedic actress Leslie Mann and actor/singer Mark McGrath, both Newport Beach natives, presided as the first-ever Grand Marshals for the Parade. Other celebrity friends and family were on the Grand Marshal boat, including Leslie Mann’s husband Writer, Producer, Director Judd Apatow and Mark McGrath’s childhood friend, Director McG!

On Saturday, don’t miss the Tournament of Roses Royal Court aboard a boat in the parade! Also, there will be a fireworks on Sunday evening we will close the parade with a Fireworks show at approximately 9pm off Balboa Pier.
