For all of your boardwalk biking needs, check out 20th Street Beach & Bikes. Down at Balboa Village, visit Seaside Bike Rentals, one of the largest varieties of rental bikes in the Balboa Pier area. At both locations you’ll find surreys, tandems, beach cruisers, mountain bikes and even Pedego electric bikes. Just hop aboard the vehicle of your choice and explore the beach, stop at Marina Park, visit the pier and famous Balboa Fun Zone.

At the Upper Back Bay, bikers of all skill levels can ride the Back Bay Loop Trail. The Back Bay Loop Trail provides an exciting opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts to discover the regional trail experience at the Bay. The 10.5-mile trail is well signed as it winds around Upper Newport Bay, with scenic stops along the way.

On a Pedego electric bike, you can go longer, farther and faster than ever before. And on top of being a unique way to ride through Newport Beach, riding an electric bike can also enhance your health. Learn all about the benefits of “exercise disguised as fun” here.

Shelby Barone with OC Mom Blog recently experienced a variety of biking experiences during her “36 hours in Newport Beach” vacation with her family. You can read all about her travels here!
