Fun, Food, and Live Music at Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort & Marina

Newport Dunes is giving summer a proper farewell with three days full of family-friendly entertainment! Come play on the Back Bay this Labor Day weekend, where you and your crew can enjoy live entertainment, food trucks, an inflatable water park and more. Your kiddos will love the water park’s 17-foot slide, trampolines and climbable icebergs—plus, adults will dig the live tunes (Sept. 4-6 from 5-8 p.m.), featuring country rock band Kelly Boyz, ‘80s cover band Flashback Heart Attack and more. On Friday, Sept. 4, The Second City brings its legendary comedy to the coast with The Second City Goes Coastal, a special open-air performance on VEA’s Sunset Lawn. The 90-minute, two-act show blends fast-paced improv, audience participation and favorite scenes from The Second City’s iconic archives—all set against sweeping Pacific Ocean views. Known for launching comedy greats like Tina Fey, Bill Murray, Amy Poehler and Stephen Colbert, The Second City has been keeping audiences laughing for more than 65 years. Grab a drink and a bite, settle in on the lawn and soak up an evening of ocean breezes, sunset views and seriously good comedy. Labor Day Premier Brunch Cruise with City Cruises

Set sail in the harbor this Labor Day with City Experiences! This cruise company hosts a variety of Newport Beach boat cruises throughout the year that are worth every penny.
