Bloody Mary Bars in Newport Beach

The Bloody Mary – a weekend brunch essential, a hangover cure, a meal in a glass, and so much more. Whether you’ve been searching for the best bloody for years, or you’ve just recently come to find that you like them, Newport Beach has plenty for you to choose from. Perhaps you like to garnish them with enough gourmet additions that you don’t even need to order a plate of food, or you prefer them more plain-jane, look no further.

Bosscat Kitchen & Libations

Bosscat Kitchen & Libations is known for their fun environment, impressive whiskey selection, and Southern-style plates. They’re making a stamp on the brunch scene as well, and on Sunday’s you just might want to find yourself there indulging in some comforting Southern breakfast. For $32 you can score bottomless bloody mary’s (or mimosas) plus an entree of your choice. From 11AM – 3PM, it’s a true Sunday Funday and you’ll want to bring your whole crew.

The Village InnThe Village Inn

Located within the heart of Balboa Island, The Village Inn specializes seasonal dishes and craft cocktails, available for all meals of the day. On Saturday’s and Sunday’s their location serves up delicious breakfast sandwiches, hearty skillets, bagels and lox, benedicts and more. Naturally, any of these pair perfectly with their Bacon Bloody Mary!

Royal Hen

This petite upscale gastropub on Balboa Island delivers friendly service and fresh libations on a regular basis. On Sunday’s they host brunch from 10AM – 2PM, and we can’t get enough of their Bloody Hen. Plus, their avocado toast is hard to say no to. Bottomless mimosas are also available!

The Beachcomber Cafe

Steps from the beach, The Beachcomber at Crystal Cove provides the perfect spot to enjoy your favorite cocktail. Grab a spot at the bar and order their Big Bad Bloody Mary, composed of Tito’s Vodka, house-made mix, jumbo shrimp, crab claw and a bounty of pickles and fresh vegetables. It’s no wonder it was voted Best in Orange County by the OC Register.

3 Thirty 33 Thirty 3 Waterfront

Visit 3 Thirty 3 for some creative American fare and a unique cocktail list. You can do lunch on the patio, dinner in the upscale waterfront dining room, or even late night munchies in the bar. But we’re partial to their weekend brunch service, available on both Saturday’s and Sunday’s starting at 9AM. Best of all, they have a Build Your Own Bloody Mary bar! They provide the vodka and ice, and then the rest is up to you. With an array of ingredients and garnishes to choose from including fresh lime, green olives, asparagus, wasabi, cucumber slices and even pickled green beans, your ‘perfect bloody mary’ is more in-reach than ever before. Don’t feel like putting the effort in and building your own…? Not to worry, their house special bloody is award-winning as well, and arrives at your table ready for sipping.

Bayside brunchBayside Restaurant

Bayside Restaurant hosts a wildly popular Sunday Brunch; we suggest dining al fresco on their beautiful wrap-around patio, and of course with a beverage in hand. From 11AM – 3PM you can dive into bottomless mimosas, their California Frittata, Banana Bread Pudding, and more. They even have two different bloody mary’s to choose from, including the classic Bayside Mary. Go big or go home with their Seacoast Bloody Mary boasts Grey Goose, house blended mix, a hint of horseradish, celery salt, spicy rim, lime, olives, and a Jumbo Cajun Prawn!

American JunkieAmerican Junkie

If you consider yourself a weekend warrior and are always searching for the party during daylight, look no further. On Saturday’s and Sunday’s at American Junkie, brunch includes bottomless mimosas, champagne, bloody mary’s and more. From 10AM – 2PM you can cheers with your entire crew and maybe even treat yourself to a breakfast burrito or a sweet and savory plate of chicken and waffles.

Great MapleGreat Maple
If you find yourself without plans on an upcoming Sunday, we highly suggest you swing by Great Maple. From 10AM – 3PM you can satisfy your hunger with their Smoked Bacon Scramble, stuffed with avocado, basil, tomatoes, Tillamook white cheddar, and fingerling potatoes. Or if you’re feeling sweeter, dive into their dish of Buttermilk Pancakes and  choose from traditional, fresh blueberry, salted caramel or even fruity pebbles. But we digress; the best part of Great Maple’s Sunday brunch menu is their lineup of bloody mary’s. Whether you’ve come for a classic (grab a GM House Mary), or you arrive still dealing with the poor choices you made the night before (the Hangover Mary is topped with chorizo and melted gruyere cheese toast), you can’t go wrong. Our fave however, is the Pickle Mary; made with Tito’s, a simple salt rim, pickle juice and garnished with a family-sized pickle. Pro tip: if you’re aren’t out for Sunday brunch, don’t miss their DAILY happy hour from 3:30PM – 6:30PM… cheers!

Red O
Red O provides Newport Beach with a taste of Mexico. Their inspired cuisine and specialty cocktails are available daily. On the weekends from 11AM – 3PM, you can indulge in endless bloody mary’s and a brunch entree such as chilaquiles or even a lobster benedict. It’s an ideal spot to spice up your brunch experience!

Yard HouseYard House

Visit Yard House any day of the week for a casual yet upscale dining experience. As long as you like your cocktail spicy, this is definitely the place for a top-notch bloody. Their Bacon and Egg Mary is a snack in itself, made with Tito’s Vodka and topped with spiced candied bacon and a hard-boiled egg. And, if you find yourself out and about with non-bloody mary fans, not to worry, Yard House offers an extremely varietal selection of draft beer and more.
